Country Eggs Benedict:
Ingredients:
- English muffins
- Eggs
- Sharp Cheddar Slices
- Sausage patties
- Onions
- Milk
- Flour
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Red pepper flakes
Prep:
- Toast English muffins
- Butter them if you would like
- Poach the eggs
- Fry the sausage patties
Make the gravy:
- Add onions to the sausage grease and cook through.
- Add flour to onions and grease. Cook for a min.
- Slowly whisk in the milk.
- Add Salt and Pepper.
- Cook on medium high until gravy is as thick as you want it.
Build the dish:
- English muffin first.
- Slice of Cheese.
- Sausage Pattie.
- Poached egg.
- Cover with Gravy.
