Shepard’s Pie:
Ingredients:
- Pork Sausage -16oz.
- Ground Beef – 16oz.
- Pack of bacon – 16oz.
- 1/3 Cup of Flour.
- 2 cups of Beef Stock.
- Onions, carrots, and celery – all diced, about 1 cup each.
- Yukon Gold potatoes – 5-6 pounds.
- Butter- 3oz.
- Smoked Gouda Cheese – 1 cup.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
Prep:
- Cook Bacon.
- Sauté veggies in bacon fat.
- Add pork and beef to the veggies and cook through. Add the bacon.
- Add flour and cook through for a minute.
- Slowly add the beef stock. Mix through.
- Pour into 9 x 13 pan.
- Boil Potatoes until fork tender.
- Combine potatoes, butter, cheese, salt and pepper and mash!
- Pour the mash potatoes over the meet mix.
- Sprinkle cheese over the potatoes.
- Place in 350 oven for 30 min.
- Pull out and let rest for 10 min. Be careful it’s HOT!
- Spoon out and Enjoy!
